An example of a 'Classic' world in Minecraft
Minecraft is a sandbox construction game made by Markus 'Notch' Persson and was inspired by Infiniminer. Notch's first idea for Minecraft we know today was called 'Cave Game' a game about breaking/placing blocks in a 3D enviroment.
Minecraft was first released as Pre-Classic and then on the November 2009 was brough out as Classic.
Minecraft Pre-Classic (Classic) was the traditional version of Minecraft. In this free version, players are granted unlimited health and blocks, thus creating the classic sandbox and later the idea of Creative Mode. There are no entities in the game except the player. This version supports both Singleplayer and Multiplayer. A list of multiplayer servers is available on the Minecraft website.
Many mojangsters to controll of Minecraft's development over time. The game was then officially released on the November of 2011 as Minecraft 1.0.
Blocks make up the Minecraft landscape, and are integral to gameplay. They can be used in crafting and can be used in many ways.
