Ghast Tears are rare items in Minecraft obtained by killing Ghasts. Ghast Tears are extremely rare due to the fact that Ghasts usually float in hard to reach locations, and because Ghasts have a 30% chance of even dropping 1 Ghast Tear.
- Ghast Tears back in 1.9pre1 were used in the making of Potions of Healing but when Glistering Melons were added in 1.9pre4 they were then used to make 'Potions Of Regeneration'.
- Ghast Tears turn an 'Awkward Potion' into a 'Potion of Regeneration' and a 'Water Bottle' into a 'Mundane Potion'
